Playroll

Playroll is a global employment platform that helps companies pay and manage employees and contractors in other countries. Its Romania service covers payroll processing in line with local tax, social security and labour rules, with payroll run monthly in Romanian Leu.

Companies can use Playroll either alongside their own Romanian entity or through its employer of record service, which lets them employ staff in Romania without setting one up. The platform handles employment contracts, statutory deductions and employer contributions, and the reporting obligations that come with running payroll in the country.

Playroll also supports contractor management, entity setup and immigration matters such as work permits and visas. It publishes country guidance on Romanian payroll taxes, minimum wage, working hours, leave, termination and employee benefits for employers planning to hire there.
