Remote is a global employment company that lets organisations hire and pay workers in other countries without opening their own local entities. Its main services are employer of record (EOR), under which Remote handles the employment contract, taxes, benefits and local compliance; global payroll, run by in-house teams rather than a partner network; and contractor of record and contractor management for engaging international contractors.

The platform brings these functions together in a single system of record covering the employment lifecycle, from onboarding and contracts through payroll, benefits administration and ongoing compliance. Remote relies on owned local infrastructure and in-country expertise to manage differing employment and tax rules.
