Its Albania service covers the permits and visas foreign nationals need to live and work in the country.

For Albania, the firm advises on Work Permit Exemptions for US, Kosovan, EU and other Schengen nationals who may enter visa-free, and on residence permits for stays beyond 90 days. It also handles Unique Permits, which combine a residence and work permit in a single document, for foreign nationals hired locally for more than 90 days in a 180-day period, together with the accompanying type D visa.

Newland Chase also supports intra-company transfers of managers and specialists assigned to Albania, including type T/N Unique Permits valid for the length of an assignment, and Work Registration Certificates that allow limited activities such as audit and consultancy work, machinery installation and repair and related training for short periods.

The company works mainly with employers and HR and mobility teams managing international assignments, assessing each case individually and advising on the process and documentation required.
