ECOVIS Norway provides Employer of Record (EOR) services, also described as Professional Employer Organization (PEO) services, for companies that want to employ staff or consultants in Norway without establishing a Norwegian entity. Operating as a licensed staffing agency in Norway, ECOVIS enters into contracts with the client company and becomes the formal employer of the workers based in Norway.

The service covers monthly payroll with calculation and payment of salaries, expenses, bonuses and allowances, together with taxation, national insurance contributions, benefits administration and reporting under Norwegian employment rules. ECOVIS also prepares projections and breakdowns based on the contract rate, issues compliant employment contracts and supports both the client and the contractor through onboarding and ongoing employment questions.

Clients include international companies onboarding talent in Norway and individual consultants taking assignments in the country. Alongside EOR and payroll, ECOVIS Norway offers global mobility support such as work permits and registrations in Norway, as well as visa and document legalisation assistance, combining these with its accounting, tax and legal services.
