A group of traditionally-oriented businesses, originally operating in the timber processing industry, separated from its manufacturing division and focused on energy – utilising renewable energy sources. The group's portfolio also includes property rental, facility management and its own hotel. However, the main business activity is the operation of its own power plant burning wood chips, as well as searching for and developing additional sources of green energy production, including through international cooperation.

The company has quality in-house staff who ensure the company's operation from routine daily activities and operations through to management and design of new projects. Most activities are carried out internally and the personnel policy takes advantage of the capabilities and experience of employees who were part of the group in the past. The company's management and internal structure is relatively straightforward and largely relies on the managing director.

ETL EAST initially began working with the client solely on the implementation of the power plant renovation project. At this stage, it was involved in securing financing from European sources amounting to 6 million EUR. It worked closely on supplier selection and project management itself. In research and development projects, a further 1.6 million EUR was secured for the company. Currently, the group provides the client with management and consulting services, participates in identifying new investment opportunities and preparing further investment projects. ETL EAST also helps with international operations and serves as a bridge for foreign cooperation.
