Swapp Agency, operating under the Icelandic entity Vinnuskipti ehf, is an Employer of Record provider with roots in the Nordic countries. It becomes the legal employer of a client's remote staff, allowing companies to hire people abroad without setting up a local entity in each country. Coverage extends to more than 150 countries.

The process starts with a salary breakdown estimate showing total employment cost, followed by a local employment agreement and guidance on benefits and statutory obligations. Swapp Agency then handles ongoing employment administration, payroll and salary payments for the employee in their country of residence. Related services include recruitment, background checks, work permits and help with company setup.

Add-on services can be attached to an employment arrangement, including car leasing, company cards, insurance and office space. The company also runs virtual career fairs through a partnership with SeeMeCV and operates an affiliate programme for channel partners.
