InterGest France S.A.S.

InterGest Romania is the Romanian operation of the InterGest network and works with foreign companies that want to establish and run business activities in Romania. It supports clients through the planning of market entry, company formation and the accounting, tax and payroll obligations that follow.

Tax matters are handled by co-partner Dr. Georgiana Costin, a certified public accountant and tax advisor. She studied marketing and European management at Babeș-Bolyai University, completed banking training at the Romanian Banking Institute and earned a PhD in economics with a focus on international management in 2007. In 2004 she founded the Contafiscal Group, which works in accounting, payroll and tax consulting in Transylvania.

Uwe Kleer, a business economist, has advised medium-sized companies since 1998 and specialises in international company relocations, funding advice and project realisation, including renewable energy projects. He works in German and English and, together with his team, supports entrepreneurial activities across Europe.

Romania has been an EU member since 2007 and applies a flat profit tax of 16 percent above a turnover of EUR 100,000 and a 3 percent income tax below that threshold. InterGest Romania advises incoming companies on these requirements and on the practical steps needed to comply with local and EU rules.
