GEA Payroll

GEA Payroll is a payroll service provider based in Croatia. It works directly with employers or as a subcontracting partner for firms that need local payroll support for their own global clients, and its software solution can be adapted to a client's specific setup. The company states that efficiency, accuracy and compliance with current regulations are central to how it works.

For companies with a Croatian entity, GEA Payroll offers three levels of local payroll service: GEA 5, GEA STANDARD and GEA PRO. The basic GEA 5 plan covers monthly payroll calculation, a bank XML file including employee net pay, income tax and mandatory social security contributions, the JOPPD mandatory reporting file, and a base reporting package with payslips, payroll summary, JOPPD report and payment details. GEA 5 is available for local entity payroll only and is priced at 5 euro per employee per payroll run plus a fixed monthly fee of 25 euro, regardless of headcount.

For employers without a Croatian entity, GEA Payroll provides virtual employer organisation services under two plans, VEO EXPAT and VEO EOR. VEO EXPAT is aimed at foreign employers hiring local talent under a foreign payroll setup, with support for Labour Law, income tax and social security compliance throughout the employment lifecycle. Each VEO arrangement is tailored to the client's business setup.
