DFK Malta provides payroll and human resources services to companies in Malta. Its payroll team handles processing confidentially and in line with tax and GDPR requirements, covering the growing complexity of tax incentives, tax statuses, fringe benefits and employment legislation.

Payroll work includes setting up and customising the payroll system to the client's requirements, calculating withholding tax and other deductions, working out each employee's monthly net salary including tax, social security and maternity fund contributions and leave balances, advising on the taxability of fringe benefits, registering and deregistering employees with the local authorities, assisting with work permits, preparing payslips and bank files for salary payments, and producing basic and customised monthly reports. The team also prepares and submits the CFR Payer's Monthly Payment Advice (FS5) and the FS3 and FS7 annual statements.

Alongside payroll, DFK Malta offers HR support with hiring, contracting and the maintenance of employee files, handles employee queries about their employment, and runs training workshops on payroll processes, procedures and employment regulations.
