Challenge
The project required a substantial number of skilled workers, both expatriates and local talent. Recruitment of national workers had to meet the requirements for the country's Angolanisation plan, which was created to improve the skills of Angolans and increase the number of Angolans employed by international companies. This created a complex challenge of sourcing qualified technical personnel while ensuring compliance with local employment mandates and contributing to the development of the local workforce.
Airswift is an asset of the company. If the contract at one company is completed, Airswift can find another company to be a new place of work according to their field so that the employee is looking for himself and not long unemployed — Angola LNG, Contractor
Solution
Airswift was committed to supporting Angola government policy and successfully identified both local and expatriate workers for the project. In addition, Airswift provided the following: compliant mobilisation of expatriate workers efficiently; support for any logistical challenges regarding visas and work permits; identification of accommodation and transportation; and local knowledge and on-the-ground support through our office in Luanda. Our comprehensive approach ensured both compliance with Angolanisation requirements and delivery of the skilled workforce needed for this major LNG facility.
