Association of Recruitment Agencies of Moldova

The Association of Recruitment Agencies of Moldova (ARA) connects employers in the European Union with workers from Moldova. It operates through more than 40 recruitment offices across the country, with over 160 recruiters, managers and support staff, and reports recruiting more than 1,800 candidates each month and over 3,500 temporary workers currently leased to EU clients.

ARA's services cover personnel recruitment, staff leasing, personnel outsourcing and a 24/7 recruitment support centre. Under recruitment, it sources workers on behalf of the client company, arranges transport, ensures legal compliance and provides ongoing support. Under staff leasing, it recruits to the client's specifications and employs the worker itself, while the client arranges accommodation. With outsourcing, ARA delivers an agreed service or process together with the workforce needed, billed by volume, rate or another agreed measure.

The association places candidates holding Moldovan and Romanian passports, handles interviews, final selection, transportation and legal documentation, and assigns a single contact person to coordinate hiring across its office network. Support continues after placement with feedback collection and issue resolution during the first month, and worker rotation is managed to limit turnover. ARA states that it recruits for brands including Amazon, Zalando, MediaMarkt, Zara, LG, DPD, Opel and Arvato.
