North American Expansion

This client is an international company headquartered in Europe that came to PEO for guidance when first expanding to North America. They needed assistance with navigating the complex labor/HR aspects of establishing and growing a Canadian operation. We met with them to understand their specific needs and requirements. We discovered they would be relying heavily on us for setting up allowances & reimbursements, documentation development, and compensation structure.

Our solution included payroll processing, HR support, group benefits, and workers compensation assistance. As part of our HR support, we helped the client onboard and off-board employees, implement an HR manual, and coordinate maternity and parental leave policies. We collaborated closely with the General Manager. Weekly meetings were instrumental in addressing issues as they arose and guiding the client in establishing and growing their business.
