Le Cheminant International

Le Cheminant International is a UK-based HR outsourcing consultancy that helps organisations employ and pay staff outside their home country. It provides Employer of Record (EOR) services, known as PEO in the United States, either directly or through local partner companies, and checks that each local provider holds the licences needed to deliver the service. This route is aimed at companies with a small number of employees in a given market, where setting up a legal entity would not be practical.

The company also arranges alternatives to EOR. It can register a client as an employer in the country concerned so employees are hired directly and paid through a local payroll run, an option available in most European countries and in markets such as India, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand. Where a client does want a permanent presence, Le Cheminant International's network of local firms can handle company registration, social security and tax authority set-up, payroll and accounting, with project management of the process if required.

Other services include contracting with and paying independent consultants on a client's behalf, advice on consultant contracts, international payroll administration, and general HR and compliance support. The consultancy's CEO has worked in HR outsourcing for over 20 years and has built a network of HR partners covering more than 120 countries, including markets in Africa such as Uganda.
