PAYROLL, spol. s r. o. is based in Štúrovo and has been on the market since 2002, specialising in payroll, HR administration and accounting. The company was created by spinning off from Smurfit Kappa Štúrovo, formerly AssiDomän and before that Juhoslovenské celulózky a papierne, where several of its staff had worked for decades.

Payroll services include registering and deregistering employees and companies with the Social Insurance Agency and health insurers, electronic reporting to those institutions, preparation of bank payment orders for wages and levies, payroll reports, calculation of sickness benefits and incapacity for work, holiday records, payroll and registration sheets, payslips, communication with insurers, and the preparation and submission of reports to foreign insurance institutions.

On the HR side the company advises on employer-employee relations, drafts employment contracts, amendments and terminations, prepares job descriptions and internal work guidelines, compiles documents for A1 certificates when employees are posted abroad, and works with attendance systems. Its accounting department handles single and double-entry bookkeeping for small and medium-sized firms, checking and posting documents, VAT returns and control statements, financial statements, corporate income tax returns, tax planning and optimisation within the law, regular reporting, accounting supervision and monitoring of changes in tax legislation.

Clients include companies in the local industrial park and the Štúrovo region, businesses elsewhere in Slovakia, and clients from Hungary and the Czech Republic. The scope of each engagement is agreed with the client and varies with statutory obligations such as VAT registration.
