OKsystem a.s.

OKsystem a.s. is a Czech software company that develops the OKbase system for HR administration, attendance, payroll, catering, intranet and reporting, and offers payroll outsourcing built on that platform. Under the outsourcing service it takes over responsibility for calculating payroll in line with current Czech tax and labour law and for communication with the authorities.

Because the payroll software is developed in-house, OKsystem's own developers adapt it to legislative changes, and clients who move to the outsourcing service also gain access to the OKbase attendance and personnel modules and a web application for sending and approving tax and payroll documents electronically. Employees can view payslips and pension insurance records on a phone or computer, and annual tax declarations and requests for annual tax settlement can be signed electronically.

The service is designed to remove the risk of relying on a single in-house payroll accountant, with the provider's team committing to keep the client's pay dates. Wages can be paid from dedicated sub-accounts held by OKsystem so that information about the company's pay policy stays confidential. Its payroll staff advise on payroll processing, the Labour Code, taxes, wage attachments and travel allowances. OKbase processes more than 300,000 payslips a month in total, and the outsourcing service is used for more than 20,000 employees.
