Acadia Advisory provides business services to foreign-invested companies operating in China, from market entry and company formation through to ongoing accounting, tax and HR compliance. The firm has worked in China for more than 15 years and says it has helped hundreds of companies with registration, accounting and HR.

Its HR practice covers payroll, social insurance, individual income tax, employment contracts, visas and work permits, and employer-of-record hiring for WFOEs, representative offices and companies testing the market. On the finance side it handles monthly bookkeeping, VAT fapiao, corporate income tax filing and annual statutory audits under Chinese GAAP, reported in RMB for headquarters use.

Acadia also advises on company registration structures, including WFOEs, representative offices and joint ventures, and on due diligence, restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, supply chain matters, trademark registration and government affairs. Sector licensing work includes customs registration, food and catering, ICP, cosmetics, medical devices, alcohol and NVOCC permits.

The firm has offices in Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen and Hong Kong, plus a regional alliance network, and provides local compliance and payroll guidance across 15 cities.
