Challenge
Groupe Herta underwent significant evolution with its partnership with Spanish company Casa Tarradellas, modifying internal structure and processes, particularly payroll management. Previously managed by Nestlé's shared service center, the alignment with Herta's strategy required a provider capable of responding to complex, often implicit and undocumented rules specific to each site and profession. Initial loss of employee confidence in payroll required clear processes and internal training.
Solution
SD Worx deployed a comprehensive HR solution in 2022 including payroll outsourcing, time management system (GTA), and HR management tools (CORE RH). A dedicated payroll manager was present at Herta for one year to perform analyses, recipe monitoring, and daily difficulty management. Solutions included white payslips to test data before official transmission, allowing Herta teams to build competency and master data.
Results
Successful transition despite unexpected departures within internal teams. Automation of annual bonuses and vacation management, reducing HR team workload and enabling smoother management. Implementation of well-defined payroll calendar and workload distribution throughout the year reduced pressure on HR teams, allowing them to focus on other high-value missions. Transparent communication and regular meetings maintained trust and ensured payroll manager needs were understood and integrated.
