Technology Services Case Study | Altron
Challenge
Altron, a South Africa-based technology services company established in 1965 with over 4,700 people in six countries, needed to staff large transformation projects for banking and telecommunication clients. They required access to a much greater pool of talent than available in South Africa, particularly niche technical skillsets for long-term projects.
The Black Piano partnership is reliable and efficient, and has resulted in our ability to deliver timeously to our clients. The best value in the relationship comes from the continual interaction with Jonathan and Abhishek. It is very easy to work with them as they are accommodating to our business needs during challenging situations. This has undoubtedly created a winning formula for success
Solution
Black Piano started working with Altron in October 2021, initially hiring niche technical skillsets in DevOps, PL/SQL and Ab Initio. As client demand grew, they rapidly scaled teams across DevOps and Quality Assurance, then expanded beyond software development into smart engineering across other departments.
Results
Successfully hired high-quality talent across multiple departments. Many hires have worked with Altron for over two years, becoming instrumental within client teams. Recent employee survey rated their experience at 9.7/10. Enabled Altron to deliver timeously to their clients.
